I have always enjoyed teaching in this institution since my very first experience as a visiting professor in the Masters Program in Finance. I had the opportunity to teach highly motivated students, who are eager to learn more, lively participate in class discussions, express their opinion with enthusiasm and demonstrate that they aspire to make a brilliant career.
Barcelona Campus combines ambition, excellence, talent and competitiveness. For students it is a stepping stone to top financial employers.
As a permanent professor at Barcelona Campus I also teach Bachelor students. They aspire to change the world, to make a difference, to improve business practice and society. Hence, they are very attentive in class, they absorb all information eagerly, they interact easily, and they express their opinion with zeal in team-work debates thereby contributing to understanding the matter. The spirit of creative thinking and interaction is very appealing both to students and to professor.
For faculty it is a challenging but also a gratifying experience to work with students of such a profile. The feeling of satisfaction, achievement, and being an inspiration to students, which I experience in Barcelona Campus, really fulfills me.
I consider it a privilege and a merit to teach highly motivated students with intellectual curiosity and discipline, to undertake research, to develop satisfying professional relations with colleagues in Barcelona and Toulouse, and to work in a friendly and welcoming place. Few business schools offer such a rich intellectual and personal challenge together with job satisfaction.
